Having placed her musical faith in vintage Motown and Jazz from a young age. Carrying this cool into her contemporary new sound, Jocee compliments the beauty of her unique tone, with an energetic 8 piece band including bass, brass and powerful backing vocals.
Debut album ‘Just love,’ carries us through Jocee’s first-hand experiences as an unashamed optimist. The record journeys from heart-ache to happiness, with each track playing out her history with touching honesty.
‘Just Love’ gained regular airtime from BBC Introducing as well as live in-house sessions on BBC London with Robert Elms and BBC Essex. Supporting the likes of 'The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show', 'Loose Ends' at The Jazz Cafe and memorable festival outings at Wilkestock, Cirque du Soul and Guildford Jazz Festival, Jocee and her big band are hungry to further spread life's vibrant melody to more soul searchers of the world.
