Lucy Spraggan

Since 2011, this acoustic pop singer songwriter has been making a name for herself in the music world and beyond. Lucy Spraggan was announced the runner-up of the Urban, Pop & Acoustic category of Live and Unsigned at the age of 20 in 2011. In 2012, she gained quite a fan base through her participation on The X Factor. Although she wasn’t able to complete the competition due to illness, Lucy finished second in her category and ninth overall. Additionally, she was the first contestant in the show’s history to score a Top 40 single and album before the live shows even aired with her independently released album “Top Room At The Zoo.” In 2013, her “Join The Club” album reached number 7 in the UK charts and she released her third album, “We Are,” in May of 2015. 2016 has been proving to be nothing but excitement for the English star. She married Georgina Gordon in June, performed at numerous Pride festivals across the UK, turned 25 in July and released an incredible single a few weeks later! “Dear You” is as heartfelt and gentle as it is devastating as it discusses losing an old friend to suicide. The accompanying music video starring Thomas Turgoose further expresses the intense emotions evoked by the song and is a true work of art. We’re excited for Lucy and her fantastic year so far, and looking forward to more music from her in the future.
